Time for a night cap, and a quick retake.
Firstly, really, if you spend a few meager seconds to think about it, the rules along DA chatrooms are not all that difficult. Or complicated. You have a rule not to stretch, so you refrain from doing thiiiiiiis. You are asked not to cap, so you stop that itchy little trigger finger from sidling over to the capslock button. You are asked to keep the RP room for RP, so you chat in the main room.
Not too hard to follow, right? Doesn't sound particularly hard or treacherous? I didn't think so.
I'm also a person of higher standards, so to speak. Therefor, slander is not something that I think very highly of at all. In fact, you'll find that the majority of the time, slander and propaganda are used to cover the tracks of those who have nothing else to offer. Much like politics. These days, politicians don't tell you what they are going to do for you, they resort to telling you what the other party can't do for you instead. To cover their own indiscretions and because they really don't have anything that they can tell you, truthfully, that they can do for you better than anyone else.
So slandering is one of the lowest forms of coercion that i believe exists. Personal attacking, is the next topic. I don't see the point, of trying to attack someone on a personal level. But that is probably because, unlike most people who frequent the chatrooms, I genuinely do not care.
My philosophy on this goes thus; I do not need validation from strangers on the internet to feel like I have value. I do not need someone to believe i am pretty, nice, intelligent, caring or kind. Nor do i feel a need to boast that I am these things.
That's not to say that I am not. I can be nice. I can be kind. I can caring. Whether I am or not depends on the situation, the people involved and the circumstances. Most people don't bother to use the effort it takes to know me for two minutes though, because they come up with some far-fetched assumption. Generally, I will attempt to explain my stance and reasoning, so that I may cease such assumptions. But when people ignore that, I call an end to it. If they can't summon the few brain cells it takes to develop some understanding or to at least respect that other people have different views than they do, then they are not worth my time.
The most frequent instance of these, that I find, is those few people who do find it so hard to follow those painfully simplistic and easy to do rules. And naturally, most people do not like to be disliked, so you will find that 80% of the time, I end up being asked to deal with it or handle it, as a mod of that room. So I do, and the offender gets a knot in their little panties and carries on about me and broken rule, decides to think I am an offshoot of Satan and ends up being removed from the room. This leads to them slandering, rumor spreading and generic playground level drama-queening, shit-fits and just plain old fails.
Now, for conclusion, we can hope; and by hope we mean you will have to get down on your knees and pray before sacrificing various species of animals to every which God that has ever been conceived; Hope that one day these types of people will be able to pull their tampons out, (Yes, males are included with their man-period moments) and grow up a little bit.
Until then, at the very least, we can continue to remember that these kinds of individuals are of poor life quality. And at least it gives us a laugh.
Your ever sacrificing Mistress;
